The Medline Basic Semi-Electric Homecare Bed is designed to provide dependable positioning, comfort, and support for individuals receiving care at home. Its semi-electric operation allows the head and foot sections to be adjusted using the hand pendant, while the overall bed height is adjusted manually using the crank located at the foot of the bed.

This combination provides convenient powered positioning while maintaining a practical design for recovery, rehabilitation, extended care, and everyday home-care use.

Semi-Electric Powered Positioning

The powered motor system raises and lowers the head and foot sections of the bed. The hand pendant allows the user or caregiver to select a comfortable or functional position for sleeping, resting, reading, eating, repositioning, or receiving care.

The bed height is adjusted manually using the crank at the footboard. Turning the crank clockwise raises the bed, while turning it counter-clockwise lowers it.

Strong Homecare Construction

The bed frame is constructed from durable rolled steel, while the sleeping surface uses zinc-plated steel wire and coils. The metal components have a durable powder-coated finish designed for regular home-care use.

The bed has a total weight capacity of 450 lb. This total includes the occupant, mattress, rails, accessories, and any other objects placed on the bed.
