Walker Rental in Toronto & GTA

Description

Motion Care Mobility offers walker rentals in Toronto and across the GTA, with same-day pickup available at our Vaughan showroom. Standard and two-wheeled walker models both in stock.

A walker offers the most stability of any mobility aid, which is why it’s often the first recommendation after hip, knee, or foot surgery, or following a fall. Our walker rental fleet includes lightweight, height-adjustable aluminum frames in both standard (no-wheel) and two-wheeled front-glide styles from trusted brands like Drive Medical and Medline.

Standard walker vs. two-wheeled walker:

A standard walker has no wheels and must be lifted with each step, offering maximum stability typically recommended for the earliest, most cautious stage of recovery. A two-wheeled walker glides forward on its front wheels while the back legs stay planted, making it easier to use over longer distances once some strength has returned. Not sure which fits your situation? Call our team before you book and we’ll help you choose.

What’s included with your rental:

  • Height-adjustable aluminum frame, fitted to the user at pickup
  • Folds flat for storage or transport in a car trunk
  • Rubber-tipped legs (standard) or front swivel wheels (two-wheeled)
  • Optional accessories: walker basket, tray, or ski glides

Pickup: Same-day pickup available at our Vaughan showroom (10 Planchet Road, Unit 12, Concord, ON), serving Toronto, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Etobicoke, North York, Scarborough, Mississauga, Brampton, and the rest of the GTA. Walker Rental FAQs

Can I pick up a walker rental the same day? Yes, same-day pickup is available at our Vaughan showroom in most cases. Call ahead to confirm your preferred model and height range are ready before you arrive.

How do I know if I need a walker instead of a rollator? If your care team has advised limiting weight-bearing or you need maximum stability while walking, a walker is usually recommended over a rollator, which relies more on balance. When in doubt, ask your physiotherapist or call our team.

Is the walker height adjusted for me, or do I do it myself? Our team fits the walker to your height in-store at pickup, so it’s ready to use correctly from the first step.

Do you have walkers ready for hospital discharge? Yes, call ahead with your discharge date and we’ll have a walker ready for same-day pickup at our Vaughan showroom.

It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for.
