Manual wheelchairs are self-propelled or caregiver-pushed, transport wheelchairs are lightweight and caregiver-pushed only, and power wheelchairs use a battery-powered motor for independent movement without pushing.

Yes, Motion Care Mobility offers wheelchair rentals across manual, transport, and power categories, so you can try before you commit to a purchase.
A manual wheelchair has large rear wheels so the user can push themselves. A transport chair has small wheels and is pushed by a caregiver, so it is lighter and more compact. A power wheelchair runs on a battery and is driven with a joystick, so no pushing is needed.
