The Drive 42-Inch Full-Electric Bariatric Homecare Bed is designed to provide powered positioning, dependable strength, and additional sleeping-surface space for individuals receiving care at home. Its full-electric design allows the head section, foot section, and overall bed height to be adjusted using the hand pendant.

The wider 42-inch sleeping surface provides additional room for comfort, positioning, recovery, and caregiver access. This bed is suitable for home care, rehabilitation, long-term support, and individuals who require a stronger and wider hospital-bed frame.

Full-Electric Powered Positioning

The powered system allows the head and foot sections to be raised or lowered for sleeping, resting, reading, eating, repositioning, or receiving care.

The overall bed height can also be adjusted electrically, allowing caregivers to select a more appropriate working height when providing assistance. The large glow-in-the-dark hand pendant includes easy-to-use controls and LED indicators for power and lockout functions.

Strong Bariatric Support

The bed has a safe working load of 600 lb. This total includes the occupant, mattress, bed rails, and any other accessories used with the bed.

The manufacturer lists a maximum patient or resident weight of 525 lb for the 42-inch model. The remaining capacity must account for the mattress, rails, and other installed equipment.

Its square-tube steel frame and slat deck provide durable support while helping prevent mattress sag. The deck is also designed to be easier to clean and maintain in a home-care environment.

Warranty

The original-purchaser warranty includes five years of coverage for the motor and hand control, a limited lifetime warranty on the frame and welds, and one year of coverage for other parts and components.

Safety and Compatibility Information

The 600 lb safe working load includes the occupant and all installed accessories. Do not calculate the full 600 lb as the allowable patient weight.

Use only properly sized mattresses, compatible Drive bed rails, and approved accessories. Incompatible mattresses or rails can create entrapment and safety risks.
