Description
Human Care FloorLine LTC Ultra-Low Electric Bed â Woodgrain
The Human Care FloorLine LTC Ultra-Low Electric Bed is designed to provide flexible powered positioning, an exceptionally low sleeping height, and a home-friendly appearance for individuals receiving long-term or home care. Its woodgrain head and foot panels help the bed fit more naturally into a residential room while maintaining the positioning functions commonly required in healthcare environments.
The bed can lower to approximately 3.7 inches from the floor, reducing the distance from the sleeping surface to the floor for users considered at risk of falling. It can also rise to approximately 27.5 inches, giving caregivers a more practical working height for personal care, repositioning, and other daily support activities.
Ultra-Low Height Adjustment
The electric height-adjustment system allows the mattress platform to move between approximately 3.7 and 27.5 inches. The ultra-low position supports fall-risk management by minimizing the distance between the user and the floor.
When raised, the bed provides caregivers with improved access during repositioning, hygiene routines, dressing, transfers, and other care activities. Before adjusting the bed, ensure that the surrounding area is clear of furniture, equipment, cords, and other obstructions.
Powered Positioning Functions
The FloorLine LTC includes several powered positioning functions commonly associated with hospital and long-term-care beds. These include backrest adjustment, knee-break positioning, auto-contour, Trendelenburg, reverse Trendelenburg, and cardiac positioning.
The included five-function handset allows the user or caregiver to make positioning adjustments for sleeping, resting, reading, eating, rehabilitation, and receiving care. The bed uses durable LINAK electronic components designed for dependable operation.
Compact One-Piece Design
The one-piece frame is designed to fold compactly for storage and transportation. This helps simplify movement between rooms or storage areas when the bed is temporarily not required.
Its compact folding design can be especially useful in home-care and long-term-care environments where available storage space may be limited.
Home-Friendly Woodgrain Appearance
This North American model includes woodgrain head and foot panels, creating a warmer and less institutional appearance. The finish is designed to complement residential rooms and long-term-care environments.
The standard sleeping surface measures approximately 78.7 inches long by 35.5 inches wide. An optional extension kit can increase the sleeping length to approximately 85.5 inches for taller users.
Safe Working Load and User Capacity
The bed has a safe working load of 440 lb. This includes the user, mattress, rails, bedding, accessories, personal belongings, and any other equipment placed on the bed.
The maximum listed user weight is 363 lb. The difference between the safe working load and maximum user weight allows for the mattress and approved accessories.
Caster and Mobility System
The bed uses premium casters designed to support movement and positioning during setup. The configuration includes one centrally locking caster and three steering or directional casters for manoeuvrability.
Casters should be locked whenever the bed is stationary and during transfers. The bed is not intended to transport an occupant between locations unless specifically permitted by the manufacturerâs instructions.
Compatible Human Care Accessories
Human Care offers several accessories for the FloorLine range, including side rails, a care-assist rail, an IV pole, a self-help pole, an oxygen-holder attachment, a wall-bumper bar, and a bed-extension kit.
Only accessories approved by Human Care for the specific FloorLine model should be installed. Incompatible rails, mattresses, or accessories may create operating, stability, or entrapment hazards.
